Slugworth in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
Philip Philmar is an actor, writer and trained illustrator who began his career as a professional performer in 1984. Over his career, Philip has worked on a number of sci-fi and fantasy related blockbusters and is most famous for his work on Tim Burton's Charlie and the Chocolate Factory playing rival chocolatier Arthur Slugworth, Willy Wonka's main antagonist. He's also known for his work in Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children playing Mr. Archer and Jack the Giant Slayer where he starred as the Cook Giant. Other notable appearances include John Carter and Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street.
Philip has also worked on a number of science fiction and fantasy based television shows including Game of Thrones and Red Dwarf as Gordon 8000. He also featured in Terry Pratchett's mini-series The Colour of Magic.
